The $999/year/dev license removes the “Personal Use” indicator and covers organization-linked work. If your company or institution benefits from pandō, this is the right license. If you’re using pandō for personal projects or learning, it remains free.

After the 7-day Organization trial, personal-use accounts display a small “Personal Use” indicator in the VS Code status bar — the thin bar at the very bottom of the editor. It is about the size of the branch name or line number indicators already there. It does not pop up, does not interrupt your workflow, and does not limit any functionality. It is only a license indicator. If you are doing work for or on behalf of an organization, use the Organization license.

Yes. Sign in with GitHub or Google (one click) and your account starts with a 7-day Organization trial automatically — full access, no indicator, no credit card. After the trial, choose: keep the Personal tier, or upgrade to Organization for $999/year/dev.

Yes. Open-source projects, personal work, learning, experimentation — the Personal tier is made for exactly this. Every tool works identically regardless of tier.

You keep everything. Your account immediately reverts to the Personal tier: the “Personal Use” indicator reappears in the status bar, and your license changes to personal use only. Every tool continues to work exactly as before. No data is lost. No operations are blocked. You will receive a prorated refund for the unused days remaining in your billing period, issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
